The Lady or the Tiger, by Frank Stockton is a story about the consequences of selfishness and greed. "Even though the Princess has her lover's trust, she only values her best interests because she is selfish, and can't learn to trust anyone else. She does not try to stand in her lover's shoes, and understand the story from his point of view."
Reflection: I learned how to get right to the point at the beginning of my topic sentence, instead of putting the main idea at the end. This helped my topic sentence make more sense to the reader, so the reader didn't have to work to understand what I was trying to say.

ReplyDeleteGreat job on your topic sentence. You had amazing word choice and great sentence structure. The tone of your sentence is good and it sounds good to your audience. Great job.
ReplyDeleteGood job, i like how you restated the authors name and the title of the story. it might be a good idea to underline or quote the title of the story. and also to add a quote from the story. i also like you word choice. you have strong wording. and maybe try deleting some liking verbs.
ReplyDeletegreat over all but make the value part stand out more
